The project period is 10 months from the date of contract, and this is the first time to build a smart tolling system for large bridges in Korea.

There are a total of 4 locations where the multi-lane Hi-Pass is installed: △ Entry/exit ramp in front of LG Metro City △ In the direction of City Gas Intersection in Plaza No. 49 △ In the direction of Gwangan Bridge in Plaza No. 49 △ In front of Mega Mart. S-Traffic's own vehicle license plate recognition technology and wireless communication technology will be utilized.

Regardless of whether Hi-Pass is installed, the license plates of vehicles driving on Gwangan Bridge are automatically recognized and tolls are charged. The company explained that since there is no need to slow down or stop to pay the fare, it will have the effect of relieving chronic vehicle congestion and reducing the risk of accidents in the Centum City and New Town areas of Haeundae-gu, Busan. Traffic volume can also be analyzed.
