STraffic wins three awards including the Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit on ‘Trade Day’

This year, the awards ceremony, hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, celebrates its 60th anniversary. The 'Export Amount of $30 Million Tower' is awarded to companies whose exports exceeded $30 million (approximately KRW 39 billion) from July of last year to June of this year, and the Service Top is awarded to the three companies with the highest export performance of services and electronic intangibles for the year, by sector. (6) Awarded to top-performing service companies. S-Traffic won the award in the technology engineering category.


This year, STraffic carried out services such as a 21 billion won project to build commercial facilities, ITS facilities, and auxiliary facilities for the Padma Bridge and N8 Expressway in Bangladesh, and a 7 billion won project to build automatic dog tags for the Washington Transportation Authority (WMATA) in the United States. The trade performance of electronic intangible goods increased by 348% compared to last year. Last March, we signed a 60 billion won contract with the San Francisco Transit Authority (BART) to supply automatic dog tags to prevent illegal riding, and are now starting to build facilities.


The Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit is given to those who have made outstanding contributions to national industrial development and have been recognized for their contribution to export performance. Chan-jong Moon, CEO of STraffic, received a medal in recognition of his contribution to increasing exports by pioneering and expanding sales channels in the global transportation solution market, including in the United States. An S-Traffic official said, “We have successfully expanded the global transportation solution market based on our technological prowess and business experience, and have achieved the feat of winning three awards on Trade Day.” He added, “We will not rest on our laurels for recent achievements and will aim to achieve even higher export volume in the future.” “I will do my best to win the award,” he said.
