Among the highways in the Busan-Gyeongnam region, some sections of the Namhae Line and Tongyeong-Daejeon Line have been built nearly 30 years ago, and inconveniences continue to arise for vehicles using them.

 Accordingly, the Bukyung Headquarters of the Korea Expressway Corporation will manage the road surface through intensive repair of 25km of the Namhae Line (Hadong IC ~ Chukdong IC), 22km of the Tongyeong-Daejeon Line (Sancheong IC ~ Jigok IC), and sections with poor pavement conditions (40 locations, 22.8km) in 2023. is doing

Currently, construction is underway to install a multi-lane high pass at the Seoulsan toll gate, and when the construction is completed in December of this year, it is expected that vehicles using the Seoulsan toll gate will be able to use the toll gate faster and without congestion.

 It was announced that multi-lane high passes will be installed sequentially, including at the Bukchangwon and Goseong toll gates in 2024 and at the Dong Gimhae toll gates in 2025.
