Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, US Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and U.S. Entry Strategies Seminar

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation held a strategy seminar for startups wishing to enter the US by inviting the Fairfax County Economic Development Agency (hereinafter referred to as “FCEDA”) in the Pangyo Startup Zone.

In this seminar, under the theme of “Best Practices and Proven Approaches to Penetrating the US Market,” local investment ecosystem in the US (Eastern), sales strategies such as preparation of sales and distribution channels to enter the US market, and experiences of senior companies were shared.

Fairfax County is called the Silicon Valley of the East, where IT-centered industries are at the center of the economy, and among them, information security companies form a good environment for business. During this visit to Korea, President Victor Hoskins also visited.

In particular, Christy Youk, the Asian officer, introduced the US market entry project organized by FCEDA as a speaker, and shared cases and networking of a senior company (STRAFFIC Co., LTD.) that entered the US market through FCEDA.

As part of the start-up leap package support project supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups - Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Promotion, the CEO Club is a specialized program for incubating companies and companies in the start-up zone in the Gyeonggi region.
