The Suwon-origin KTX project is worth 14.9 billion won and is a project to make Suwon Station a KTX departure base by constructing a 9.99 km long railway connecting Seojeong-ri Station on the Gyeongbu Line and Pyeongtaek Jije Station on the Suseo-Pyeongtaek High-Speed Line. Departing from Suwon Station, it joins the Suseo-Pyeongtaek High-Speed Line at Pyeongtaek Jije Station and operates as the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line. It takes 2 hours and 15 minutes from Suwon Station to Busan Station (about 30 minutes shorter), and from Suwon Station to Mokpo takes 2 hours and 10 minutes (about 1 hour and 50 minutes shorter).

The Incheon-bound KTX project, worth 7 billion won, is a project that will connect Yeong-nam and Honam regions into a two-hour zone from Incheon through the southwestern metropolitan area. By connecting Eocheon Station on the Suin Bundang Line and the Gyeongbu Express Line, you can take the KTX from Songdo, Incheon. It takes 2 hours and 29 minutes from Songdo Station to Busan Station and 2 hours and 10 minutes to Mokpo, aiming to reduce the time by more than 1 hour and 30 minutes each.

The Pyeongtaek-Osong double-track project, worth 2.8 billion won, connects the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line and the Honam High-Speed Line, and by linking with KTX from Suwon and KTX from Incheon, it will be possible to travel all over the country by high-speed rail. It is possible to expand high-speed rail train operations, including increasing track capacity and operation frequency. After completion of this construction project, track capacity will be doubled, allowing more KTX and SRT to be operated. By connecting with KTX from Suwon and KTX from Incheon, it will be possible to travel all over the country by high-speed rail.

An STraffic official said, “With this order, we have solidified our position as a supplier of high-speed rail electronic interlocking devices, and will do our best to build a safe and reliable system. In addition, we are actively participating in local government urban rail projects and overseas projects centering on KTCS-M, which has obtained SIL4 certification,” he said. “We are expanding the supply of transportation solutions not only domestically but also to the U.S. market, including Washington D.C. and San Francisco, thereby expanding the global transportation solution market.” “We will be reborn as a leading company.”
