Pilot Operation Test of Onboard Signaling System in the Yangsan Line Urban Railway Project (in cooperation with the Korea Railroad Research Institute)

1. Date: Tuesday, January 27, 2026
2. Location: Yangsan Line Depot and Main Line (Stations 101 to 107)
3. Objectives:

• Trial run test of ground facility integration (Urban Railway Vehicle Technical Standard PART 53 5.4.13)
• Stationary test
• Operation test: full load condition, three round trips across the entire section, verification of precise stopping, conducted in unmanned mode
• Abnormal condition test of ATP/ATO
• Railway software trial run test (Urban Railway Vehicle Technical Standard PART 53 3.2.7)
• Verification of railway software configuration (onboard signaling system)

Through this pilot operation test, it was confirmed that the onboard signaling system’s integration with ground facilities and its software functions operated normally in compliance with the standards.
