STraffic, a leading smart transportation solutions provider, has successfully completed an advanced fare gate installation project in partnership with BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) across 50 stations in the United States.

A total of 715 next-generation fare gates were installed, and the project was completed four months ahead of schedule, originally planned for the end of this year.

Thanks to STraffic's technological expertise and agile on-site response capabilities, BART has achieved significant improvements, including a more than 50% reduction in fare evasion, enhanced passenger safety, and increased system efficiency.

In particular, STraffic applied its world-first door locking mechanism, independently designed to effectively prevent unauthorized entry.

Discussions are also underway to introduce advanced sensor-based technologies for further system upgrades.
