The MTA plans to install new fare evasion gates at 20 subway stations this fall. Four companies have been selected for this project: Conduent from New Jersey. Cubic from San Francisco. Scheidt & Bachmann from Germany, and STraffic from South Korea. Each company will test its fare gate model at five stations.
